Shower door hardware repair and adjustment
A shower door that drags, sits unevenly or will not close needs the cause checked. Shore Glass Seal repairs shower door hardware, deals with slipped hinges and adjusts doors.
Ask about your doorDragging, slipping or not closing?
A door that rubs at the bottom or leaves an uneven gap may have shifted. A slipped hinge is one possible cause, but worn strips, the enclosure and the hardware can also affect how the door moves. A symptom is not a diagnosis.
What Shore Glass Seal does
We handle shower door hardware repair, slipped hinges and door adjustment, as well as worn seals, sweeps and failed silicone. We assess what your enclosure needs before confirming the work and price. A hardware repair and a new sweep are not interchangeable fixes.
What to show us
- A full view of the door and enclosure.
- Close-ups of both hinges and any loose or damaged hardware.
- The gap, rubbing point or area that does not close correctly.

Our online estimate form currently covers seals, sweeps and silicone caulking. It does not quote hardware repair or door adjustment. If your request also includes those seal or caulking services, you can start that estimate online. Every request is reviewed before the appointment and final price are confirmed.
Does a dragging door mean I need a new enclosure?
Not necessarily. Adjustment or hardware repair may be relevant, but we need to assess the door before confirming the right work.
Will adjusting the door stop a leak?
It depends on the cause. A worn sweep, failed silicone or another enclosure gap can still let water out. We do not promise that one adjustment fixes every leak.
Can the online form price a hinge repair?
No. The current form estimates seals, sweeps and silicone caulking. Call us about hardware or door adjustment so the work and price can be reviewed.
