Shower door seal and sweep replacement
A split, loose or worn strip can let water past your shower door. A replacement needs to fit the glass and the gap, not just look like the old one.
Request an estimateWhich part needs replacing?
The bottom sweep. This strip runs along the lower edge of the door. A damaged or missing sweep can let water reach the bathroom floor. The replacement needs to match the glass thickness and the clearance below the door.
The edge seal. A worn strip along the side of the door can leave a gap where water escapes. Replacing the bottom sweep alone will not solve every side leak.
The fit matters
Glass thickness, the seal profile and the gap all matter. A strip that looks similar may not seat or contain water correctly. Photos of the full enclosure and close-ups of the old strips help us review what your shower needs.
What Shore Glass Seal replaces
We replace worn shower door seals and sweeps and renew failed silicone. We review your request before confirming the appointment and final price. You do not need to know the part name to start: show us the enclosure, the old strip and where water appears.
What to send with your request
- A full view of the shower enclosure.
- A close-up of the bottom sweep and both door edges.
- A photo of the worn strip or the gap where water gets out.

Can any replacement seal fit?
No. The glass thickness, seal profile and gap matter. A strip that looks similar may not seat or contain water correctly.
Do I need a whole new shower door?
Not necessarily. If the problem is a worn sweep, seal or failed silicone, a targeted repair may be enough. Photos and an assessment help establish what your enclosure needs.
Will a new sweep fix every leak?
No. Water can also escape at the side of the door or through failed silicone. The source of the leak matters.
