Shower enclosure silicone caulking replacement
Silicone that has split or pulled away can leave a gap around your shower enclosure. We remove failed silicone and renew it with a clean, continuous watertight finish.
Request an estimateIs the silicone failing?
A visible split, a loose edge or a gap in the bead can be a sign the seal needs attention. Send a close-up of the area and a full view of the enclosure. Water on the floor does not, by itself, tell us which part has failed.
Shower glass recaulking, not a cover-up
Our silicone replacement service removes the failed material rather than hiding it under another bead. The goal is a clean, continuous seal at the enclosure joints that need renewal.
What Shore Glass Seal renews
We renew failed silicone around shower enclosures and replace worn shower door seals and sweeps. These are different barriers: a worn door strip may need replacing, while a failed silicone joint may need recaulking. We review your request before confirming the appointment and final price.
What to send with your request
- A full view of the shower enclosure.
- A close-up of the split, gap or loose silicone.
- A photo showing where water appears outside the shower.
Based in Howell, serving Ocean and Monmouth counties. The estimate form asks about silicone caulking and the number of glass panels. It checks your service address and shows any travel fee. Every request is reviewed before the appointment is confirmed.
Can you just add silicone over the old bead?
Our service removes failed silicone and renews the seal. It is not a cosmetic layer over a failing bead.
Will recaulking stop every shower leak?
No. A worn door sweep, an enclosure gap or a suspected leak behind tile may need a different assessment. The source of the leak matters.
What if I do not know whether it is a seal or silicone?
You do not need to know the part name. Show us the enclosure, the damaged area and where water appears so we can review your request.
